Why Weathersfield?

We often come across neighbors who love telling us about their neighborhood. The cool thing about having a website dedicated to one specific home is that it gives us a platform to share their comments:

"So a few good things about Weathersfield. Weathersfield is conveniently located within 2 miles of 540 and 7 miles from 440. We feel completely safe and our neighbors are the always keeping an eye out for us and our home. Dustin and I like how our home backs up to the woods for privacy and the pool is NEVER crowded. Very relaxing. It is overall a great community with great neighbors and the yard and home appearance is clean and simple."

What do your friends think?

Marilyn used to live nearby and has been a friend of Christa's daughter for a long time. Here is what she had to say...

"Christa's daughter and I have been friends for close to 30 years. Debbie lived in Charlotte for some of the time and we'd usually meet in Christa's house when she came back to Raleigh. I've always had a special fondness for the screened-in porch, perfect spot for a cup of coffee or a glass of vino. Plus you cannot beat the North Raleigh location, it's convenient to everything, it's pretty and it feels safe and secure."

Relax, you're home...

It's amazing. When you turn off Falls of Neuse Road into this neighborhood, you can immediately feel yourself relax. Its a well established, quiet town home community that has matured gracefully. And THEN you get to Christa's home at 610 Weathergreen. It is immaculate! In the photos, you will see this home is a perfect balance of modern convenience and formal elegance. The kitchen has been redone with new cabinetry and a beautiful island. The dining room is perfect for formal dinners or entertaining. This home really has it all- big living room with a fireplace, screened porch with privacy, a first floor master bedroom and 2 BIG bedrooms on the second floor. You have to see it in person!

A note from the homeowner....

"I have enjoyed 11 wonderful years in this home. I was first drawn to it because of three little words: location, location, location! For me, my home is conveniently located to my employment, church, hospital, doctor's office and shopping. I don't have to use the beltline or I-40 unless I decide to venture outside of my close circle of friends and activities.

This house has seen many holidays where my two children and five grandchildren gather each year. With the downstairs master bedroom, I have my own privacy while all guests have the run of the upstairs (2 big bedrooms) with their own bathroom.

Although family gatherings at the holidays (and in the summer I enjoy swimming and playing tennis on-site with my grandchildren) are very pleasant memories for me, one of my best memories is the ice storm in January of 2006. I was able to accommodate several of my friends overnight as we waited out the storm. They wanted to stay somewhere close to their work and my house was the perfect spot, and I still had power. We bundled up and walked to Kroger, less than 1/2 mile from my home, and picked up groceries. We had a fabulous meal and a great visit with our friends.

I hope you will enjoy this home as much as I have. I've reached the age where my children have asked me more than once if I would please consider moving to Charlotte, where they both live. Being fiercely independent, I did not want to leave Raleigh or my comfortable home. But, as time goes on, and I get a little older, it makes sense to move to Charlotte to be with my family while I am still healthy and active." -Sincerely, Christa Brians
